Happy New Year’s all!

Today, I did another 100 days of coding and did a true/false question game. The game came with a .py file that had all the questions and answers but it was up to me to find a way to make a new class or two and get it to work.

The majority of the work was done in a Quizbrain file. It runs it all pretty much. Is there questions? Is there more? Where are we, etc.

Today, for first capstone in this course, is to create a blackjack game!

This so far has took everything learned in the previous days. Lots of thinking, lots of remembering the basics. I now know why almost everyone uses Google on the basics. Maybe the basics isn’t so.. Basic?

The good ole days

I have noticed that this is reminding me of my days at FullSail. I do like doing this, although so far it’s not all that ‘complicated’ and I know its just the beginning of the bucket but it is fun and keeps the mind going!

Hello all! Hope you all had a great Christmas!

I did take yesterday off but it was the holidays and had too much I had to do.

Today we will be building a simple calculator. However the first part of the lesson today deals with returns in functions. Nothing too fancy in the first few videos just the basics. Now, some fun!

Month and Days

First exercise was to determine if a year was a leap year and pass the correct day of the month, in particular for February. I did put in a catch to ensure that someone enters the right month number. I should however have the user re enter it but I know that will be coming down the line.
